My name is Didem Gungor.
I am in my final year of my Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary Education Degree at Murdoch University and received a High Distinction grade for my final placement. As a part of my Professional Practicum Internship I have completed a Professional Teaching Portfolio addressing the National Professional Standards of Teachers.
My Professional Teaching Portfolio has information about myself and my background and why I choose teaching. This website contains background information based upon the school where I completed my Professional Internship. You will find information regarding the school context, my class and the school. My Teaching Philosophy is included which addresses my passion and beliefs about how to be an effective and creative teacher. I then addressed each of the seven National Professional Standards using a 'Situation Action Outcome' (SAO) approach. For each seven standards I have used items of evidence which will support my work against the seven standards.
The purpose of this portfolio is to demonstrate my teaching efficacy, personal teaching pedagogy, teacher's philosophy and development as a teacher.
Included in this portfolio you will find:
For privacy purposes, the school where I completed my final practicum has not been names and only first names of students have been used so they can not be identified.
